Field of Research:Airway and Food Allergy

Our current research aims:
1) To elucidate mechanism of house dust mite major allergen and its lipid ligands triggering inflammation responses from innate and adaptive immune cells and from lung epithelial cells.
2) To identify and characterize novel food allergens in wheat flour causing wheat-dependent, exercise induced anaphylaxis (WDEIA) in Thai children.
3) To determine roles of miRNA in regulating expression of Th2 type cytokines in innate immune cells and from lung epithelial cells.
