Research Summary<\/span>\u00a0\u2003<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

My research focuses on understanding the fundamental mechanisms by which mechanical forces regulate cellular functions, with a particular emphasis on:
Osteocyte Biology:<\/strong> Investigating osteocytes, the most abundant cells in bone, which orchestrate numerous functions within bone and other tissues.
Space Biomedicine:<\/strong> Investigating the physiological impacts of microgravity to develop countermeasures for astronauts and translate these findings into therapies for age-related diseases on Earth.
Molecular Biology and Protein Engineering:<\/strong> Engineering novel protein-based therapeutics and developing scalable manufacturing processes to translate discoveries from the lab to the market.
Ultimately, my work seeks to translate fundamental insights from mechanobiology into tangible therapeutic solutions that address critical health challenges on Earth and in space.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
