Signing Ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding on Research and Development of Gene Therapy and Cell Therapy Products for Inherited Retinal Degeneration

On September 17, 2024, the Institute of Molecular Biosciences, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and the Department of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Public Health, held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the research and development of gene therapy and cell therapy products for inherited retinal degeneration at Room 101 of the His Majesty the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary 5th December 2007 Building, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.
This collaboration marks a significant step in promoting the research and development of innovative gene and cell therapy products in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, including ensuring the quality and safety of products according to international regulations. Furthermore, this partnership aims to drive the translation of research innovations into practical applications in the field of ophthalmic care.
