Peer Evaluation of Laboratory Standards

On August 22-23, 2024, the Chemical and Radiation Safety Committee of the Institute of Molecular Biosciences, Mahidol University, welcomed a team of peer evaluators to assess and certify the standards of its laboratories. The evaluation team was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pharima Phiriyangkul, the chief evaluator, along with Dr. Kamonporn Masawaeng and Dr. Krittaya Petchpoung from Kasetsart University. Four laboratories at the Institute of Molecular Biosciences were evaluated: Laboratories C410-C411 and the MU-VARY Laboratory (Laboratory Head: Assistant Professor Dr. Narisorn Kittiyanant), the Shrimp Molecular Biology Research Group Laboratory C211-01 (Laboratory Head: Professor Dr. Chalermporn Ongvarrasopone), and the Protein and Proteomics Laboratory (Laboratory Head: Associate Professor Dr. Chartchai Krittanai).
