MB Workshop on “Uniting Against SUPERBUGS”

On September 3, 2024, the Institute of Molecular Biosciences, Mahidol University, organized a workshop titled “Uniting Against SUPERBUGS” for high school students enrolled in the Health Science program at Wattana Wittaya Academy. The workshop integrated fundamental knowledge in microbiology, including research laboratory techniques, laboratory safety practices, and simulated scenarios for treating patients infected with drug-resistant bacteria (Superbugs). These bacteria have evolved to resist antibiotics, making them increasingly difficult to treat and posing a growing threat to global public health every year.
