Our research projects mainly focus on biotechnology of medicinal
plants and natural products. The research area involves identification and purification of plant active compounds, tissue culture of medicinal plants, biotechnological approaches to enhance plant secondary metabolites, biological activities of plant extracts and metabolites, and development of methods for the quantitative analysis of phytochemicals.
